Eric Voyzey, EMV Contracting

Upon graduation from John Carroll University in 2002, I started a small general contracting company with a few good friends. We grew from 3 guys with an old pickup truck, to a company with multiple crews that won awards for their craftsmanship. Early on we recognized the importance of continuing education and training. The following will be long-winded, yet I say with pride that I am OSHA 30 certified, lead abatement certified, Silver Star certified through Henkel’s windows and caulking program, trained and certified in air lifts and lulls in multiple states, considered a Building Solutions Specialist through Certainteed, trained through Dupont (Tyvek systems), and have taken and taught numerous training seminars on both James Hardie and Nichiha products. Both Hardie and Nichiha sponsored my work at the Greater Cleveland Remodeling Show over the years.

As the housing market took a turn for the worse in 2009, it was clear our business model needed to change. Commercial and Multi-family structures were the avenue that I wanted to diversify into; today I call this sector home.

Fast forward to 2019, and EMV contracting is a team composed of office management, to on-site PM’s , to in-house estimators, to carpenters we trust. Modern technology brings our core management together daily to review projects in real time. Tracking and meeting deadlines are paramount in our success. I’ve spent decades in this industry developing relationships and contacts. I’m grateful for the people committed to excellence under the EMV banner.
